Back in 2012 I started working on a new project with Jean Abreu, a choreographer who 65daysofstatic had previously worked with on his piece INSIDE. The new project eventually became a solo performance by Jean called BLOOD. It debuted at the Royal Opera House in 2013 and subsequently toured the UK. He wanted me to write something minimal and piano-based. I persuaded him that it should probably also have a load of weird noise all over it. In the end we found a compromise somewhere in the middle.

Pianos and noise. I bet no-one saw that coming.

Not sure why it took me ten years to release this.

NOTE: Comes with a bonus track 'Iris', which doesn't fit nicely into the flow of the album, but it was actually the track that opened Jean's performance. Included here rather than it be lost forever.
